The owners, Michael and Cornelia were absolutely fantastic, they were so friendly and helpful. The accommodation and pool were spotless. Breakfast was excellent

The owners are really friendly and very helpfull if you have questions. The nice pool is definitely a plus. Location is on the edge of town (so it is nice and quiet at night), but the center is not far so you can easily visit the beach or go out at night. We visited red beach (so beautifull) and the sites of Phaistos, gortys and Agia Triada, which are convienently closeby. Breakfast is good. They also have a restaurant in the centrer where you can have a three course meal for €8,80, which was also really good and had a nice view on the caves.

The beds were hard (but all the hotels we stayed in Crete had hard beds, so maybe this is something local)
